Why we built this.

Machines got very good at doing things. Deciding what is worth doing is now the part that matters, and almost nobody practises it deliberately.

The shift

For most of history, having an idea was the easy part and executing it was the bottleneck. Building something took years, capital, and a workforce. That has inverted fast. Execution is now cheap, quick, and increasingly automated.

What is left is the part machines are worst at and schools teach least: deciding what to make, noticing the connection nobody else noticed, and asking the question that reframes the problem.

The gap

There is a well-established body of research showing creative thinking improves with deliberate practice. There is almost nothing designed to help an ordinary person actually do that practice, day after day, in the ten minutes they have.

That is the gap Gletch fills. It is not a course, a productivity system, or a tool that generates the work for you. It is a training practice for the thinking itself.

How we build

  • Evidence first. Every exercise traces back to published research, and we say plainly where the evidence is thin.
  • Your ideas stay yours. Gletch never generates ideas or content for you. It makes you better at producing your own.
  • Practice over content. Nobody needs another library to feel guilty about. Ten minutes done beats a hundred hours saved for later.
