Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
Draft — not yet legally reviewed. This document describes our intended practices and must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer, against the jurisdictions you operate in, before Gletch accepts public sign-ups.
The short version
- We collect the minimum needed to run the app.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- Your ideas, notes, and practice content are yours. We don't read them, and we don't use them to train models.
- You can export or delete everything, at any time.
What we collect
Account information
Your email address, and — if you sign in with Apple or Google — the identifier that service gives us. We use it to authenticate you, sync across your devices, and send service messages.
Content you create
Ideas, pursuits, goals, and session records you enter. This is stored so it can sync between your devices. It is treated as your private content.
Usage data
Which features you use and when, plus crash and error reports. This tells us what to fix and what to build. Where the law requires consent for analytics, we ask first.
What we don't do
- We don't sell personal data, and we never have.
- We don't use your private content to train machine learning models.
- We don't build advertising profiles or share data with ad networks.
- On team plans, administrators can see participation only — never the content of anyone's practice, ideas, or notes.
Where your data lives
Data is stored with our infrastructure providers, encrypted in transit and at rest. If you are outside the region where our servers sit, your data will be transferred there under appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is open. If you delete your account, your content is deleted from live systems promptly and purged from backups within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated statistics that can't identify you may be retained.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Write to privacy@gletch.app and we will respond within 30 days. You can also delete your account from within the app at any time.
Children
Gletch is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we make a material change to this policy we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
